Australian Government Bond Investment Scam

There have been a number of imposter Australian Government Bond investment offers targeting people looking to invest their money in bonds. A person who deals in bonds and other financial products must hold an Australian Financial Services License that authorises them to carry out these activities. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has issued a warning regarding these scams and how to protect yourself on its MoneySmart website.
